ICEMEN vs 95 GIANTS RECAP   Saturday 6pm

The 95 Giants topped the Icemen 5-3 on Saturday at Porazzo Arena. The Giants surged out to a 3-0 lead in the second period before Drew Waters scored late in the period beating the Giants net minder to the blocker side on a 2 on 1 rush. Anthony

Seals assisted. 

The Giants added two more goals in the third to go up 5-1 before the IceMen surged late in the third period. Dillon McCallum had a nice rush splitting the two defensemen and going glove side to cut it to 5-2. Two minutes later Caiden Brady got the Icemen within two,  going glove side on Giants goalie John Quinn as the Icemen continued their comeback. With 19 seconds left and goalie Jackson Ballard pulled for another skater , Mason Luciano appeared to have made it a one goal game on a shot that appeared  to have gone under the cross bar and back out. The goal was disallowed and the Giants prevailed 5-3.  Jackson Ballard had a strong game in goal making numerous saves for the IceMen. 

 

 

ICEMEN VS WARRIORS SELECT   Sunday 5pm

 

The icemen picked up their 4th win of the season at home over the Valley Warriors selects 8-3 at Porazzo Arena. The Icemen were paced by Mason Luciano’s hat trick and Caiden Brady’s two goals. 

The IceMen jumped out to a 3-1 lead in the first period on goals by Luciano, Dillon McCallum and Brady.

The Icemen extended the lead in the second period to 5-2 on goals by Luciano and Brady .  The IceMen 

iced the game in the third period with three more goals goals by Jay Carpenter , Luciano, and Nick Romanos.

Romanos also chipped in 2 assists. Nolan Wrenn played well on Defense adding two assists as well. 

Jackson Ballard  was strong in  goal for the IceMen with numerous big saves. 

The IceMen look to avenge an early season loss to the Jr Bruins on December 2nd at Reilly Memorial Rink .
